The organisation of event
The event is organized for the Club du Vélo Trial du Mont-Blanc (VTMB). In the organizing committee, we find the members of the VTMB, the Mairie de Cordon and Cordon Tourisme.

The club of VTMB (Vélo trial du Mont-Blanc)
The Mont-Blanc trial bike was born in 2012, under the impulse of some enthusiasts of this discipline too little known.
Jean François GUERNIER has been the President since its creation. Today, he is very proud to be at the head of this dynamic and always motivated association.
Whether it is for the youth of Cordon or the young people of neighboring towns and villages, we want to preserve and cultivate the values of our village and maintain this spirit both sporty and family. This mindset enriches us every day.

Comite de pilotage du VTMB et de la Coupe du Monde de Vtt trial © VTMBThe association has since its creation more or less twenty licensees at the FFC. They all participate, more or less in the regional competitions, but for some, it is also the events of the French Cup and World.
After organizing 2 rounds of the Rhône-Alpes Cup (2016/2018), our last great satisfaction was the result of organizing a round of the Coupe de France at Cordon in September 2022, with the support of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region and the Haute-Savoie departmentSavoie. The Commune de Cordon has also been heavily involved in this organization. The commune is always with us.
At the beginning unthinkable, we have during this event, managed to prove to the authorities of the French Cycling Federation present on site, elected and public, an entire village and volunteers were largely capable of organizing a national competition.
So now, why not think about organizing a Global event?
It’s a big challenge, but we are very confident and convinced that organizing a round of the MTB Trial World Cup on our territory is up to our standards.... Nothing is impossible.
