The farm of Abérieux
Nestled at the start of a hiking trail, La Ferme de l'Abérieux is a farm with 25 dairy cows of the Tarine breed. The harvested milk is fully processed on the farm.
Albert, the farmer, opens his doors and offers you:
- Attend cheese making every morning except Sunday (on reservation, remember to call)*
- To attend the milking of cows every day around 5:30 pm
* 5€ per person to be able to access the laboratory, -12 years offered.
He also sells his products directly on the farm: tomme de Savoie fermière IGP (protected geographical indication), bleu fermier, raclette de Savoie, cottage cheese, faisselle, yoghurt, milk jam, l'Abérieux (soft cheese), and butter on demand...
