A dedicated area for beginners is located at the start of the ski area: the "rope TV of the elves" will make you advance at your own pace.
At the top of the track, you will have in front of you a gentle descent, diving on the Aiguilles de Warens: the Aiguille Rouge and the Aiguille de Varan.

Our ski area is made for you: with its 11 kilometers of green, blue, red and black slopes, you can vary the pleasures and the elevations.
Fully equipped with drag lifts, it is ideal for working the thighs!

A unique and accessible ski area
Our ski area...
- Cordon is a ski destination on a human scale, where it is good to ski as well as basking on the terraces... The Cordon ski area is unique, it is not connected: it is part of the Portes du Mont-Blanc ski area.
- On the ski area of Cordon - Portes du Mont-Blanc, it is possible to practice: alpine skiing, snowboarding and telemark. For the practice of Yooner, please contact the ski area’s ticket offices.

- From the town of Sallanches, the Cordon - Portes du Mont-Blanc ski area is a 16-minute drive away.
- Don’t you have a car? You can take the bus line Y86 which serves Sallanches de Cordon, then our free shuttle that will take you directly to the Dandry parking lot, from the slopes. More information here.

Free shuttle in winter
The shuttle runs in a loop through the village, going:
From the centre of the village, as well as to the hamlet of la Léchère -> towards the parking lot of le Dandry, the start of the ski area.
The shuttle is free for all and accessible for pedestrians as well as dogs (please keep them on a leash)
This service is only operational during the opening of the ski lifts during the winter season.
There is no shuttle service between Combloux and Cordon.

Looking for a gourmet break after several descents? You are right! In Cordon, find three restaurants located at the foot of the slopes: Chez Alcide on the bottom of the domain, Chez Mireille - Le Darbelin on the center of the domain and Le Refuge on the top of the domain. More information here
Ski touring
Discover the hiking ski route on Cordon: Le Chanté
Two departures are possible to access the ski touring route: the Charbonnière car park and the Dandry car park.
Start 1: Parking de la Charbonnière (1050 m) - Starting from the bottom of the Frébouge ski lift - Difficulty: quite difficult
Start 2: Parking du Dandry (1210 m) Finish: Le Chanté (1550 m) - Difficulty: easy
Time: 1h45 Altitude difference: 490 m Length: 2.1 km
From the Charbonnière car park, go down the slope for a few meters to reach the Frébouge ski lift.
Go up to the left of the red slope and ski lift. Then, turn left around the Darbelin ski lift and walk along the green slope of Dandry.
At the Dandry car park (second possible starting point), the route goes up along the Darbelin ski lift.
After the ski lift, go up to the left of the Chars ski slope until you reach the top of the route. For the descent, you can take the red track of the Converses, the blue one of the Herney or the red one of the Cross to access the parking of Dandry.
For the parking of Charbonnière, continue the descent on the blue track Frébouge or the red one of Pirolaine.
